Sunday Footbal BBQ

If Sunday wasn't the day before Monday...I would love it more ;) I got up this morning and caught up on some things around the house. I also prepared for a Sunday Football BBQ. My Aunt and Uncle were in town signing some paperwork on their future house (which is RIGHT down the street from ours- hoooray!), so we decided to do up some good food. I made Tina Bars with chocolate chips for dessert.

My Aunt brought this amazing bowl of fruit from Costco:

Josh made up some burgers and I toasted up some buns:

And I made up some oven baked fries. I had some sweet potato "fries" and lots of fruit (maybe 4 times this amount haha):

I also made up some traditional white potato fries for everyone else (they were still cooking in this picture ;)):

All in all, a great bbq! We watched a bundle of football and then I decided it was time to get my legs moving! I felt a little sore after the quarterly and knew I'd be doubly sore tomorrow if I didn't do anything today. I ended up doing 6 miles (5 running and 1 mile walking because I ran into my friend Jennifer who was walking her dog in the middle of my run):

Felt good to get a little sweaty :) I am currently making up some bbq chicken nachos and more steak fries for Josh and his friend Jeremy :). On tonight's agenda, switching up my Body Attack choreography and more football. What are you up to?

Yea for football! We have been watching all day. I am having major tummy issues today so no working out for me. Were you sore from yesterday? Just curious. Body Pump killed my legs, I need to work them out more. I hope to be feeling better and back at it!

What a great bowl of fruit! I'm not into football at all, but I gather from the blogs I've been reading that's it's huge in the States!

Haha, exactly my thoughts: I would like Sunday a whole lot more if it wasn't right before Monday!

What a lovely Sunday you had, though, with great eats! Reminds me I haven't had potatoes in a while...

Well, since you mentioned football, I'm thinking about Eagles' McNabb cracked his rib. I don't like the guy (as a player), but I am sorry about the rib.

Fun football bbq! I'm trying to get more into it (aka LEARN what everything means, ha) because the Redskins are VERY important to my boyfriend's family!

Have a great week, lovey :-)

Haha, I love the first sentence: If Sunday wasn't the day before Monday, I would love it more. Ain't it the truth? I always try to remind myself that if it's Sunday, I'm not at work, am I? But sure enough, 4pm or so rolls around and I start to groan...

"If Sunday wasn't the day before Monday...I would love it more" Soooo true! What kind of hrm do you have? Do you like it? Was it worth the expense? I want one and I'm trying to decide if I can justify the cost :) Happy Monday!
