Quesadillas, Last day teaching...tear!

Today was an emotionally draining day. Work was crazy. Like I said yesterday, I have a major presentation tomorrow so there was a lot of run around today! After work, I went to the gym to teach my last class. A bundle of the instructors showed up to support me. I was immediately choked up when I walked in the room and saw these balloons from my amazing friend Jill sitting on the stage.

I gathered myself and thought I was fine until one of my favorite participants brought in these gorgeous flowers:

I gave her a HUGE hug and somehow still managed to keep it together. After a FABULOUS last class, some of the instructors took Josh and I out to a local outdoor bar for a few drinks (I had a miller lite). They gave me a card they all had signed and a gift certificate. When reading the card I finally lost it. There are SO many incredible instructors at the gym and I will really miss them all. We came home and I made up some black bean and corn quesadillas:

I am ready to sleep :) How was your Thursday?

SO NICE....and so emotionally draining.

that stuff is far more depleting for me than the physical.

here's hoping you slept like the proverbial ROCK.

No doubt your day would be emotionally-draining - definitely a bittersweet moment!! Hang in there!!

Thursday was pretty good, but exhausting as always (with dance and classes and such); and I'm not feeling 100% :0(

HOPE YOUR FRIDAY IS FABULOUS!! :0)

What a great send off for your last class. It shows how appreciated you are!
I was a wreck when I left my last job, they made my favorite dessert (strawberry shortcake) gave me a beautiful present and had a HUGE card wiht personal notes all over it. It made it so hard to leave, but it was the best thing I could do.

Hope your move goes well...are you moving far? I just moved, but only 4 miles down the street, so it was pretty painless. :-) Good luck with everything!

BTW, YUMMY quesadillas!
