Whats going on? Today was another early morning workout! I got up around 5 and went to the gym. I did 10 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the elliptical and 45 minutes of Body pump. It is so great to get to the gym early but I feel hungry allll day afterwards :). For some reason, I kept thinking it was Thursday all day! I spent most of tonight working on Body Step. I would say I know 9 of the 12 tracks! Tomorrow night, I am team teaching my first class in SC and then we have a practice for the launch! I am thrilled!! For dinner tonight, I made my favorite easy, comforting meal, cheese quesadillas and black bean soup:
I totally know what you mean about being hungry all day after a great morning workout! Happens to me too often ;) most days I have to remind myself not to undo the burn with eating too much food, lol.
P.S. My favorite comfort food is my mom's lentil soup... I can definitely send the recipe your way if you'd like :)

I have those days too. I don't get them at all because they are random. Sometimes I'm hungry all day after a morning workout and sometimes it is a day that I didn't work out at all.
Black beans are a great choice. Very filling!
I love Black Bean soup! I like the quesadillas with cooking spray too...really doesn't make much of a difference! I'd have to go with any sort of soup or stew...they are always comforting!

This time of year, it's all about the chili for me. I usually just chop up a bunch of squash and onions and then add spicy V-8, black beans, kidney beans (or whatever beans I have around), corn, lots of spices and maybe some ground turkey and whole wheat elbow macaroni noodles. Top it with some 0% fage or low-fat cheddar cheese, and you're set!

I am SO trying that black bean soup this fall to feed my black bean addiction. Seriously, I buy like 4 cans at a time. :-)
My favorite comfort food? That is sooo hard! I would have to say any kind of pasta...I know that's very general, but I seriously love it ALL. I try to limit my pasta dinners because I have no self-control...but it's definitely my fave!
