Chobani: New Flavors Review

Thank you all for your kind comments about my 9 miler yesterday! You really know how to make a gal smile ;)

As I mentioned previously, the wonderful folks at Chobani sent me some samples of their two new flavors, Pineapple and Pomegranate. Below is a review of the two new flavors:

2% Pineapple:

The new pineapple chobani rocks! It is officially Josh's favorite chobani flavor. I asked him for his review and he says that all you need to know is...its awesome! I enjoy that it has all the great flavor of pineapple without being over the top sweet! Loveeeee it!

0% Pomegranate:

Again, yummmmmy flavor. Gentle but not over the top. I am not a HUGE fan of the pom seeds in the yogurt but Josh enjoyed them. Nice creamy texture.

My Chobani flavor preferences are now as follows:

1) Pineapple
2) Plain (with a little bit of added honey....I have never actually been able to locate the honey flavor)
3) Blueberry
4) Vanilla
5) Peach
6) Pomegranate
7) Strawberry

Josh's are:

1) Pineapple (obviously)
2) Pomegranate
3) Tie between Strawberry, Peach, Vanilla
4) Tie between plain and blueberry (Josh doesn't like blueberries and he just can't do the plain ;))
Run out and get the new flavors! They are fab.

On this Friday, I started my day with Body Pump. The rest of our day today and tomorrow will be dedicated to Josh's friend Jon's wedding (Josh is in the wedding). I may be MIA until Sunday night. Enjoy your weekend!!!

I have yet to find the pineapple flavor, but I really want to try it!

As far as the honey flavor goes... you aren't missing much if you add honey to the plain. It practically tastes the same! :D

Cannot wait to try that pineapple flavor!! I think it would be awesome with a little coconut mixed in.... ala pina colada. :)

Happy Friday!

I think Josh may be slightly addicted to pineapple? LOL! I love it too, so I would prob love the yogurt..not a fan of pomegranate though.

I've had two really bad experiences with Chobani. Is it just me, or is the yogurt...well...grainy? I was picking little hard white bits out of my mouth. Could barely choke it down. I've written it off. Did I just get a bad batch or two?

love the pinapple flavor, but i wish they would make it in the 0%! The 2% is soooo rich... I feel like I'm eating cheese or something. And i can't finish it all.

We make our own yogurt. It is so easy and so good! I just make plain and stir in fruit. Sometimes I do a little drizzle of agave. Have fun at the wedding!
Oh and Body Combat ROCKS! I loved it! I want to try body pump next!

Erin and I felt the same way about the new Chobani's (though we had to fork over our own hard-earned cash for them!).

The pineapple is awesome, kind of subtle but really great. And the pom, like you say, is a little weird with the seeds.

Have a great weekend and fun at the wedding!

Thanks for the review. I'm usually a plain girl and add my own fruit, but that pineapple flavor does sound interesting. Congrats on your run by the way. I think I missed that post. Great job!!!

Those new Chobani flavors look so scrumptious! I haven't seen them in stores yet, but you can bet I will be trying them when they do :o)

Congrats on the 9-miler yesterday! You always manage to look so fresh faced after a workout/being in the rain/WHATEVER, and I love it! Lovely lady inside and out!

Have a great week! Thanks again for all of your well wishes, they mean a lot.

Your blog is so cute! I'm so glad I just came across it! I just made my own yogurt from scratch (you can find a post about it on my blog.) It was super easy and if you like plain greek yogurt you should totally try it. Anyways, glad I found you!

YUM! Thanks for the review. I'll have to hunt down some pineapple!
