Today was filled with a very productive morning and a lazy afternoon :). In the morning, I taught Body Step, went food shopping, did lots of laundry, ironed and caught up on blogs. This afternoon I.....have been relaxing!
For din din tonight, I made up little pizzas on whole wheat pita pockets. For Josh's pizzas, I combined marinara and buffalo sauce and topped it with mozzarella and buffalo chicken breast lunch meat. He ate his pizzas with a side of pineapple:
For me, I used marinara, cheese, and tons of veggies (peppers, onions, broccoli). I had a side of pears and more veggies topped with a little marinara
(I am tomato sauce obsessed!):
I baked the pizzas at 375 for probably 12ish minutes. It was a great, easy dinner. Josh requested a coffee dessert so I just brewed some up! I never say no to coffee haha. We will probably hang in and watch movies tonight. What are you up to?
I've spent today getting caught up on blogs too.
Dinner looks yummy and easy too!
Just hanging out and do the family thing on a Saturday night - hope you guys enjoy your quiet evening in.

I spent the day watching soccer, buying used furniture and running 7 miles! Now I am collapsed and catching up on lovely blogs like yours! Your pita pizzas looks great!
i absolutely adore veggie pizzas especially homemade ones! :) good choice girl!
girl I am being bad and eating way too many Good Humour bars as I catch up on blogs. Bad girl I know, but I did sweat like crazy today as the dew point was killer outside.
You always make such healthy pizzas, good girl.

Looks yummy! I love lazy Saturdays, but my boyfriend is making me "maybe" go out tonight. I'm really not in the mood though, I'd rather do what your doing tonight.

Relaxing Saturdays are the best! My bro in law and his wife are visiting from CA. We are hanging out at our friends house this weekend. Enjoyed the pool this afternoon and we are going out for sushi tonight!
Yum, yum! We had pizza tonight too (but it was Kashi ; )
I am totally tomato obsessed too! I swear I only eat the french fry just for the ketcup. :)

Enjoy your night.
Ooh, those looks so good! Love the abundance of veggies on yours :)
Aren't those the cutest little pizzas I ever did see :)
Your dinner reminds me of the English muffing pizzas I used to make as a kid! Easy and tasty. I'm just waiting for Snuffy to wake up asking for Mommy...she hasn't been feeling well for about 4 days now :(
Cute pizzas! And they look really good, too. I love easy, healthy meals that come together in a snap. Tonight my husband and I are just hanging out! I just got my computer back so I'm definitely trying to catch up on my blog reading :)
I think I'll be making pizza tomorrow night! looks great. I haven't tried broccoli on it, but i may do that now.
Erica! congrats to your sweet bulldog for winning Janetha's contest (well, really Penelope Jane's contest LOL) He is beautiful! I love my bulldog, they have MORE PERSONALITY than any other dog I've ever had (I'm not sure if that is a good thing though :0)
relaxing afternoons are the best! i love the addition of buffalo sauce to josh's side - smart move :)
hey - how is josh doing? is he all healed after the whole incident the other weekend?
Yummy! I bet they smelled heavenly too!! I want to try making homemade pitas--have you ever attempted it?
Busy mornings and lazy afternoons are the way to go! Unfortunately my Saturday was the complete opposite but that's alright ;)
Your mini pizzas look awesome! I don't know why I haven't tried broccoli on pizza yet - sounds delicious!
I love veggies topped with marinara. I could eat probably anything with marinara on top. Have you tried english muffin pizzas? They make good pizza crusts as well.
Good for you for relaxing, girl!! You work so hard, it's definitely deserved.
And what a great idea to put pizzas on pita pockets??!
That looks like the perfect weeknight dinner; easy, fast and delicious! I'm tomato sauce obsessed as well, I've been known to drink it plain....
I'm glad you are getting to relax this weekend, you deserve it:)
Dinner looks great! I love anything in the pizza family; it's so easy to make it healthier!
YUM! These pizzas look delicious. Hope you are having a great weekend
When we were kids, we sometimes made English muffin pizza for dinner. I always loved it!
oh my gosh! I'd eat a green smoothie, cut cantaloupe, or plain Greek Yogurt (with no fruit) if you'd invite me over for that pita pizza!
Love the pita pizzas- one of my favorites!
Ahhh you totally gave me a great idea of stuffing the pitas with pizza filling so make it like a calzone. Man oh man looks great!!
