Charleston, Fresh Berry Froyo, Dinner

It has been one FABULOUS Saturday! I taught Body Step this morning and then finished up some work I had to do. Afterwards, I went to the pool for about 45 minutes to do some Twilight reading while Josh was off at the gym. When he got back, we both got showered up and headed into Charleston.

We enjoyed a long walk around the city (probably close to 5 miles) and hopped in and out of art galleries looking for a few paintings for our house. We found some nice ones, but weren't completely sold on any. Next, we stopped at Fresh Berry for some INCREDIBLE frozen yogurt.

I had the no sugar added vanilla with kiwi, mango, and pineapple:
Josh had the Fresh Berry Tart with raspberries, kiwi, and pineapple:

The store is SO cute:

Hooray for Fresh Berry and froyo!

Josh was still hungry after our froyo meal so we headed to Pita Pit:

Josh got a chicken crave (chicken and ham) pita with lettuce, spinach, hummus and cheese:

We sat in the park while he ate his pita and enjoyed the beautiful view:

After our wonderful day in the city, we headed home for some din din and a movie. I was feeling kinda lazy so Josh had some buffalo chicken from Harris Teeter with some cherries and cauliflower that I roasted up:

I had a big salad with romaine, apple, roasted cauliflower, a little broccoli slaw, salsa, and a slimcado. The slimcado is a green avocado with less fat/calories. It tastes like a watered down avocado and was kind of meh...I don't think I would buy it again- I love the healthy fats found in avocados!

We plan to relax for the rest of the night! What are you up to?

That FroYo looks SoFroYum. (Lame joke.)

I'm just getting on the Twilight band wagon myself! I'm just started New Moon, except this one I'm listening via audio book during runs!

Hey girl!

It seems like Fresh Berry is popping up everyone! It looks yummy!

My hubby is sitting next to me trying to talk me into going to Dairy Queen!! Shame on him! :)

Pita Pit is awesome... I haven't had that in forever!

And of course, your salad looks SO good! They always do!

Have a great weekend!

I went to that Freshberry when I went to Charleston too!! We got lost looking for it so by the time we got there we were hot and hungry!

I've only tried slimcado once and it didn't impress. There's something about the creaminess of regular avocados that simply cannot be left out!

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Yum, that fro-yo looks so awesome! I don't think NYC has Fresh Berry yet but we have Pinkberry, Berrywild and Red Mango. We don't have Pita Pit either, but I always here about it on Gina's blog and want to try it!

As always, your salad looks gorgeous and delicious! I'm glad you had a fun Saturday night with the hubby:)

We've only been to Charleston one time, and it was so beautiful.

What a fun time!

Awesome food adventure! I'd walk 5 miles for that too! But I recently began a love affair with Gelato. We plan to ride off into the sunset together.

All that fruit looks so great with that frozen yogurt. We have a Pita Pit in Lexington, but I have never tried it. It does look really good though. Hope you've had a great weekend. Not much going on around here.

I wish we could have one of these near us. I love those and that pinkberry too.
But you know I couldn't take my eyes off that wrap that Josh has. Man that looks good! Love that they put hummus in there.

Love the froyo! We're just starting to get fro places up here so I'm excited to try the real deal one of these days!

I'm loving your salad. Slimcados sound so strange - thanks for the review. I think I'll be passing on that one!

I love frozen yogurt, places like this are great.

And I can't wait for New Moon to come out in the movie theater. It was fun comparing the Twilight movie to the book.

I need to find fro yo - I've seen it everywhere in blog land!

Buffalo nuggets are always a good idea!

I am so glad you dig the HT Nut Butter! Which one did you get? It is surprisingly delicious and grainy/gritty (?) for it's reasonable price!

Also, not to be needy (coughcough) but the lack of Frank pictures in the past few days has not gone unnoticed...I'd love to see that wrinkly face to brighten my Sunday night! xoxo
