- Taught Body Step
- Went food shopping for the week
- Cleaned our wood floors
- Washed and Vacuumed my car (it was 85 and very humid here today!)
- Learned a portion of the new Body Step
- Laundry/ironing
- Football/napping
Josh and I plan to spend most of the rest of the night watching football and just relaxing. For dinner, I made soup (vegetable/bean for me, turkey/vegetable for Josh). I also cooked us up some matzo balls via a packaged mix (low sodium though!).
For Josh's soup:
Place a little EVOO in a pan, add chopped onions, celery, garlic, desired spices, and ground turkey and cook until turkey is done (no longer pink). Add frozen soup veggies and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Add in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add matzo mix and cover. Turn heat down and simmer for 20 minutes. Top with cheese.
Mine was essentially the same, just no meat and I added the beans in when I added the matzo mix in. I also use vegetable instead of chicken broth.

Glad you had a good Saturday. We were busy too! I cut 7 inches off of my hair! AGGH! I like it though, it was time for a change. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I am a Les Mills instructor too, but not in BodyStep. I LOVE it tho. It is some crazy step!

I had matzo ball soup about a month ago, not really knowing what it was - I got one giant baseball size motza ball! It was really goog though!
Mallard ended up at work until...well, tomorrow. So, Snuffy and I went to Children's Place and Gymboree to get her a Fall wardrobe! I found out my little fashonista loves to try on clothes. Then, we came home, indulged in some celery and Naturally More and watched some DVR'd "Say Yes To The Dress" . We had a fun girls' night!
Soup looks great!
What's the difference between the step class I take and body step? Is it just a new name for the same fun class? The step I take is a choreographed, complicated work out to music on the step.
I've never tried matzo balls before. They look good!!
Sounds like you knocked a lot off of your to-do list!!
I need to put Matzo balls on my never-ending list of foods I must try soon :-)
i've never had matzo ball soup! looks amazing though!
You know, I've never had Matzo ball. I didn't realize there was a package mix option. That's my style, so lemme look for it!
