Random Eats, Body Attack Launch

Thank you for all of the compliments on the Body Step launch picture- you all are so sweet (love it!). I apologize for not blogging yesterday. My Tuesday went well, it was just busy! I had the usual work then ran home to take care of the Frankster and did a few things around the house (dusting/ironing). Next, I ran out the door for the cowboy themed Body Attack launch (I'm the mini one on the right haha):

The launch was another good one- high energy! It is a very tough release. I came home and finished up some more cleaning, showered, and then made a semi lame excuse for a dinner. First, a veggie & bean plate with salsa:

Butternut squash with a little maple syrup:

I also had a tortilla with lots of nut butter on the side.

Today, I taught Body Step in the morning. It was really fun to teach to a different crowd (hot mamas!). Today was also my first time teaching the full new release by myself and I think I did well. The rest of my day was spent working, getting a flu shot, and hanging out with this guy:

My dinner tonight was kind of random (again!). BBQ cabbage, veggies & beans:

Tomato:
A tortilla I toasted under the broiler and then broke into pieces:

Pumpkin topped with honey and cinnamon (I had this x's 2):
All randomly together now:

I also had a monster apple. Do you have nights like this where you want a little bit of a bunch of different things?

Hope your Wednesday treated you well! Quick question for all ya'll yoga fans out there: Josh and I want to find a yoga video we can do together each day. We want something with a bunch of smaller segments so we can do mini sessions (maybe like 15 minutes)? Any recommendations??

The cowboy theme looks fun and Frank is adorable!

Do you have a cable box with on demand? Under the excercise tv there's usually a good assortment of yoga videos- a fair amount are 20 minutes or so, and you can figure out if you like the instructor before buying a whole dvd. I have The Biggest Loser yoga dvd with Bob, but I've only done it a handful of times and it's already boring to me...but you can break it up into different 10 or 20minute sessions.

ha! cowboy themed class! so fun :) I alwayyys want random bits of everything for every meal haha I'm the WORST decision maker but that pumpkin would definitely be tops on my list!

The 20 minute free classes at YogaDownload.com are amazing for a quick yoga session! I love the "Power Vinyasa Flow", especially number 4. "Core Yoga" and "Yoga for Buns" are great for a small workout, and the "Hip Opening Flow" and "Detox Yoga" are great as well :)

Random dinners are the best! You get a whole bunch of different flavors going on - yum! I really like the pumpkin idea! I'm keeping that in mind.

If I lived anywhere near you, I'd definitely go to your classes! You seem like such a fun and energetic teacher which can really make the class worth it. Glad your launches are going well :)

Y'all are too cute in your cowboy attire. :-)

Hey sometimes random meals with a little bit of everything are just what you need. Plus if it leaves you satisfied even better.

Glad you got your flu shot, now you should be good to go!

Random munchie snacks=story of my foodie life!! I often feel weird posting my super random snacks rather than a real meal haha but it happens...a lot!

I like eating random things because it satisfies little mini cravings I have. Ya know?

I don't know of many yoga videos...but I'm sure you know of yogadownloads....I'm thinking he wants a real life demonstrator though?

okay, how do you look so cute when working out?! I love the girls' hats, too!! I have to say - these launches look like a lot of fun. Makes me wanna teach!

ooooh pumpkin + honey + cinnamon? so trying this!

I wish I could help with the yoga question...I don't know a ton of videos out there. But I think it's AWEsome that Josh wants to do it, too!

Hey hey, yet another cute pic!! I def have nights where I just want to pick at food and have a bunch of tastes of everything, but it's fun right :)

As for yoga recommendations, I like Elise Gulan Yoga.Fitness.Plus but its 45 minutes... I recently did the Less Is More yoga routine on exercisetv and it was pretty good - 20 min I think?

That photo is amazing!!! You should frame that. Y'all look so cute!

I REALLY need to get my flu shot, too. They were out when I went to get it yesterday... hope it's not too late!

I think I saw a beginner yoga on www.exercise.tv in the free video section, but I haven't done it so I don't know what it's like.
Yogadownalod.com is always great...they have free 20 minute classes of various levels with audio and a printable pose guide.

I always eat random meals like that - my mom calls them "throw-em-togethers". All the different tastes and textures always leave me 100% satisfied.
You look super cute in your bandana!!

yogadownload has free 20 min podcasts... but you'll need to teach Josh some basics. They're the best in the market from what I've tried so far! :)

Your work group looks like such a fun bunch of people!! And Frank is cuter than ever of course :-)

And yes...some days I can't decide what to pack for lunch so I throw like 10 different bits n pieces in--I am a fan of variety for sure!

Sometimes the randomest meals are the best! I just hate it when they taste better than meals I spend hours on, haha...

I love random dinners--the pumpkin sounds so yummy I might have to use that as a side!

cute picture, you must love working there, it looks like a fun crew. i am ALWAYS the shortest one in pics too, but it's turned into a fun part of my identity, short girls rule!

the plates look wonderful. i love all the veggies!

I don't own any yoga videos, but I try to do yoga podcasts which are pretty brief (20-25 minutes).

All the winter squash you're eatin look so delicious! And it's really nice sometimes to just mix everything up and have those random days. It becomes so easy to develop a food routine and get bored with what you're eating.

Amanda (Two Boos Who Eat) said...

lol the mini one? You're hilarious!

Bob from The Biggest Loser has a pretty awesome yoga dvd that I really like.
