Long Run & Dinner Out

Hi guys! So glad you all enjoyed the squash seed “recipe” in my last post! They were delicious and it was a great way to use up the squash seeds that I would normally throw away.

Due to OT I put in this weekend, I was able to take today off! I used today to get my to do’s done. I completed the following:

  • Cleaned the whole house
  • Ran my long run of the week (9 miles):

  • Laundry/ironing
  • Little shopping (2 new pairs of work pants and undershirts for Josh, 1 pair of gym capris, workout socks, and new black flats for me- all on sale at Kohl’s)
  • Food store
  • Dry Cleaners
  • Caught up on blog reading
  • More gym choreography

Right after I got back from my run, it started POURING and has been doing so all day.

Josh and I met up with friends for dinner out at Liberty Tap Room.

Josh had the cutest beer sampler:

There weren't a lot of veggie friendly options. I got a sort of lame salad (so I'm finishing up dinner by eating at home ;)):

Josh got a big ole man burger:

I'm going to snack a bit more and then its off to bed! Look for a fun giveaway tomorrow!!

Love the little samples glasses! I'd say they were cute, but I don't want to take away from the manliness of the drinks. :)

Ugh, that's essentially the only option at most bars for ladies like us, right? Oy.
Buying undershirts for the hus...a lifelong duty :)

Bummer about the rain and the lack of food options. Good though that you got your run in before the rain! Great job!

The Big Ole Man Burger...really? That name cracks me up. His testosterone level had to have gone up at least 12 points after that.

Ugh that stinks that the place didn't have great veg options. I'm impressed that you made it through dinner on a not so hot salad :) I understand though because the thought of making something at home that you're going to enjoyyyy is worth it :)

love love love josh's little beer sampler!

that taproom looks fun, the fact that they didn't have options for you was a little weak! good job on the run!

Wow...you were very productive on your day off, girlie! Congrats on the long run, too! Ugh, I wish restaurants offered more veggie options. Hopefully one day soon!!

Boo to lackluster dinner salads, isn't that always a letdown?! At least you had a productive day off!! New black flats? I bet they're very cute!!

I hope you're having a great Thursday! Only one day until the weekend :)

that is a cute sampler! sorry about not having a lot of options, you'd think by now most restaurants would be more health conscious!

Thanks Erica! I Teach out in Summerville at the Yoga Loft Tues at 9 (not next week though) and at Select Fitness in N. Chas on Mon and Fri mornings at 9:45. I also do workshops and privates :)

Where do you teach? I love body pump, have never done the other ones though. My friend says body flow is fun, do you teach that as well?
