Sloppy Janes, Green Monster

I got up this morning and ran out the door to Body Pump. When I got home, I finally got up the courage and tried my first green monster!! I decided to ease my way in with the following combo:

1 cup spinach
1/2 cup milk
1 banana
1 scoop Green SuperFood powder
ice

Mixed it all up in the magic bullet. After my first sip, I kind of thought it was a little ...meh. After my second and third sip, I got over the slight grass flavor and really started to enjoy it. By the end, I loved it!

I drank my monster around 7 am and my tummy didn't start talking until 10:45ish! I was surprised just how full the monster kept me.

After a full day of work, some cleaning and some errands, I got started on dinner. The star of the show was the watermelon I picked up at Publix:

I wish I could get fresh summer fruit all year long!! Frank was not that excited about the watermelon...

Alongside the watermelon, Josh and I enjoyed broccoli, sloppy janes, and more of the bread/rolls that Kath and Matt brought us. Josh's plate:

Now its time for So You Think You Can Dance! I forgot this show was on for a few weeks so I feel a little out of the loop!
Are you already getting excited for the weekend?? I know I am ;)

I knew you'd like it!! I think I need to add more of each ingredient to mine so they have more staying power. I definitely need to get me a magic bullet before I head back to school.

I didn't know where to respond to your ?...but I think I'll go whereever work (if I get a job!) takes me. But HH is a bit small and laid back for my personality...and lackin' a WF and TJs :(

haha I love Frank. :) Although I'd be a lot more excited for that watermelon than he is!

SYTYCD is pretty good tonight! Hope you're enjoying your evening!

Was it really good? ha! I don't know if I could stomach that in the morning:)
I am seriously addicted to watermelon, I eat it every day. I could only eat that and be content. I know I can't though:)
I am watching SYTYCD right now. Love that show! Have a good night!

I am a little disappointed that Frank wasn't excited about the watermelon. Come on Frank, it's fresh summer fruit! :)

The green monster consumption taking over the health blog world has been very intriguing. I may have to try one soon.

Wow, another green monster convert! I was really surprised it would be that satisfying...I never thought liquids could fill you up so nicely!

I missed a few weeks of that show as well, so I'm a little lost now! I don't know who exactly I like/want to win! Better catch up!

I agree on the fruit! I made a comment today regarding the bummer that is living where fresh, local fruit is only available for a few months out of the year. The sloppy janes look delish! What's your recipe? If it is obvious on your sidebar, I apologize, I didn't see it.

why can I not get into the very concept of sloppy janes?
Im sure its because of the icky sloppy joes of my youth but...the word sloppy ANYTHING and Im not interested.

I am interested in FRANK :)
I love me some FRANKage.

That monster has some serious staying power!! Frank is such a cutie - I just want to cuddle with him :D

I'm not that excited about the weekend - the weather is supposed to be horrible. Where's summer because it's not in MI!

The sloppy janes sound great! I made my own version of them a few weeks ago - looks disgusting as lentils often do but tastes great.

I am so ready for the weekend! So You Think You Can Dance has been a bit disappointing this season with the exception of the very first episode. I still really like it. Just doesn't feel like there's the same level of talent that they had last year.

Your Frank pictures always make me smile. :)

I already commented but I love your new picture:)
