MIA Weekends, Pasta Product Review

Hey Hey! Sorry I keeping being MIA on the weekends. We have too much going on right now and I can't wait until we are more settled!! I will provide lots more details once everything is complete (by the end of this month ...fingers crossed!). I will hopefully be a lot more responsive to your posts and questions too (I'm so so sorry!). Here is a quickie recap of my weekend:

Friday: Work, Body Attack practice 1/2 hour, food shopping, dinner, relaxing

Saturday: Body Step Launch at Gym #2 (went really really well!), lots of errands, out to dinner with Josh

Sunday: Work (just a little!), Body Pump, Errands, Housework, Baking (pumpkin muffins and oat bran chocolate chip cookies), Superbowl watching, dinner.

I did get a little time this weekend to relax with Josh and this guy:

For dinner tonight, we tried this Putney Pasta:
I boiled it up and made myself a HUGE salad (romaine, carrots, broccoli slaw, feta cheese, walnuts) and placed a few pieces of pasta on top ;):

And made a giant plate of pasta for Josh:

We both really enjoyed the pasta. You can definitely taste the spinach, but the walnuts...not so much. I would buy it again though and would like to try some of the other amazing sounding varieties. I found this in the freezer section in with the organic foods.
Did you have a good weekend? Did you watch the Superbowl?

That pasta sounds good!

The super bowl was on in the room with me. Does that count as watching? I did see the end though. It was kind of exciting.

Aw, I love Frank. Thanks for posting pics!

I am always MIA on the weekends too - life is hectic!

I SO wish I could take a class @ your gym. The names of the courses you take and teach always sound like a good workout.

Oh no worries! Glad to see you're back, weekends can be busy, so definitely know what you mean. Tasty eats as always!

Love tortellinis!

I watched the game. I'm glad it was a close one. That makes it much more exciting, especially since I wasn't really rooting for a team.

Working on the weekend? Boo! I like the sound of the salad topped with a little pasta. Weekend was fine, I had a long list of things to do and didn't do any of them!

im with ya regarding the walnuts! sounded like a great combo until they mentioned that. i was cheering on the steelers with a bunch of friends at a bar downtown. SO fun. anwyays, to answer your Q, the fruit/nut bars are usually in the basket displays on the way to the checkout, or around the area where the lines form. they are SO good!

Frank is such a snuggle bug! That pasta combo sounds so great. Thanks to the wonders of the Internet we were able to watch the game. Tons of fun for us! My husband's family are huge Steelers fans. Such a great game!

Mmmm....pumpkin muffins. :-) Every meal could be shaped around something pumpkin flavored, IMO.

You are a busy girl! Don't apologize - you have a ton going on, and you'll be all settled in your new house so soon!

I watched part of the game...we had kind of a scare (my dad went to the ER in an ambulance, thank goodness he is okay!).

Erica,
No worries. I know how it goes - often there is just not enough time in the day for everything, ya know? I hope all goes smooth this month. Sending good thoughts your way. We just lowered the price on our house yesterday...hoping for an offer soon!

That pasta sounds delish, and I laughed at your "pasta plate". That is so how mine would look. Tons of veggies, and a few noodles - we know how to do it up right!

I sort of watched the Superbowl. I always get distracted by my to-do list. I have a hard time sitting still.

That's too bad about the walnuts! Pasta with walnuts stuffed inside sounds really good!!

The Superbowl was great! Hope you're having a good day, girl!

That pasta sounds awesome. What a great flavor combo.

I watched parts of the super bowl but not nearly as much as I usually do.

Yum! I love tortellini! I bet that would be really good in a soup.

Congratulations on the launch! You are such an inspiration! :)

Good luck getting settled.

Now seriously, how do you exhibit such self restraint when you make these things for josh?
