Body Step 79 Launch & Pizza Pot Pie (Vegetarian & Chicken)

Phew! It has been a busy week over here. How about for you? First off, Happy Earth Day on Thursday (since I probably won't post again before)!! Second, as I previously mentioned, I had a hectic Monday that involved work, teaching my usual Body Pump class and teaching at two Body Step launches. The launches went really well and we sweat-ed up a storm!

Launch 1 (love that you can see the South Carolina flag in the back), this is one of my fellow instructors teaching the lunge track):

Instructors from Launch 1:

Instructors from Launch 2:

And launch action shots:

So much fun! We didn't theme Body Step this time because it was hard to pick a theme that went well with the music. Next release is supposed to be 80's based (Body Step 80)- I can't wait!
Monday night, I used a new item I received from the nice people at the CSN stores to make dinner, Rachael Ray’s Bubble and Brown Ramekins(disclaimer- the company sent me this product for free).

I already had (and love) her casseroval set and could not wait to bake with these Ramekins. With them, I made a version of Giada’s Pizza Pot Pie’s. In Josh’s pot pie, I used Italian baked chicken, artichokes, cheese & sauce and in my pot pie, I used broccoli, artichokes, cheese & sauce:

The outcome:

Totally delicious! I love these little ramekins and can’t wait to use them again. Thank you CSN!!

Tuesday involved the usual work & teaching Body Attack (new launch next week- yikes!).

Do you have a favorite baking dish or do you always buy products from a certain company/store?

Look for another fun BAoK review and a giveaway in my next post.

Those little ramekins are so cute! Did you make your own pot pie crust or use pre-made?

Very cool ramekins. I love the shape of them. I have pretty standard ramekins, white, round, but they do host some delicious pot pies in the winter! Your classes look really great, glad the launches are going so well.

Those launches look like so much fun! They had the Pump launch at my gym on Saturday, and I did the new track yesterday - loved it! Biceps...whoa.

Those ramekins are adorable! I actually don't have any ramekins...and I seriously always need help on baking pots/pans/dishes because I don't know what's good- only what's cute. :-)

Glad the launch went well. I can't wait for ours:) Love the veggie pizza pot pie. So fun! I have an obsession with dishes. I go to thrift stores and look for special treasures for cheap prices:)

Some very fit instructors!!! The energy you guys have is so inspirational. I am so sore after yesterdays Body Pump launch at my gym...I can't imagine doing another today! :)

I love your Body Pump shots! I miss Step so much, and BP just looks that much more fun.

Those pot pies are so cute! I haven't had one in years (since I ate chicken) but I really want to try your pizza version!

Andrea @ CanYouStayForDinner.com said...

YUM! I couldn't love the pizza pot pie creations more! How inventive and delicious! Daniel would go gaga over this! And I really need a good set of little ramekins to make small portions of deliciousness. I think my favorite cookware is my set of stainless steel pots and pans from All Clad. It was the most expensive thing in the world, but I use them everyday and love them so much!

Great job on the body step launch!!! You are so so beautiful!

heyy... I was doing 1200ish and today went with a friend to see a nutritionist just to find out how many calories I need to eat for weight loss. She told me that I needed to go for 1000-1100... 1000 made me freak and think I would get some sort of crazy eating disorder lol. So I am trying for 1100. I am 4'11 and she said 1200 would be to maintain my weight 1100 would be for slow loss. I dont know what exactly to do lol.

I can't remember the last time I bought a baking dish. We didn't even receive many for our wedding. I love me some Pyrex and thankfully Matt had a nice stock when I met him. ;)

Body STep launch..OMG my friend back in the day in Wilm., NC used to do Body Step launches...too ironic!

Salad dressing recipes, just email me if you need any.

The little pots are too cute...but i was at marshall's homegoods store today, i.e. like a tj maxx. Girl. Le Creueset type pots and such are half off or even better. For this type of thing, go there. I hate those stores but for that, they are a gem. I was there for sheets and a lamp. But got sucked into the housewares/gadgets section!

I love finding random baking dishes at discount stores so I get quite a non-matching collection. :) I've seen these around and I love the look of them. Great pics from your classes!

Oh wow, I have never thought to make a pizza pot pie--I am not a huge fan of original pot pies, but in pizza form I can't see how I wouldn't like it haha!

Glad the Launch was a success--it always looks so full of energy in there :-)

Congrats on the launches! Could you pass me a fork pleeease? he he!

Ooh, those pot pies look like major fun - I love pot pies but rarely bother making them. Love the crust baked on top. I've actually even had an Indian version at a restaurant in Brooklyn, if you can believe it. Anything can happen in NYC!

Love the pot pies and the ramekins, too!

Therese said...

How do you always manage to look so adorable after a sweaty workout??

I've heard of making pizza casserole (like the crust on top) but this would be even better...portion control lol!

your classes look so fun, love it! And you always sound happy about it which is awesome.

I will use any container or dish that comes my way, nothing particularly special
