Body Pump Training

Hey guys! Thank you for all of the great vegetarian pot luck dish ideas!!!! Sorry for being MIA the last three days. Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! I spent my weekend in Charlotte at Body Pump training.

The training was three days (Friday 11-8, Saturday 9-6, Sunday 8-5)- it was a long and tough but FUN weekend for sure. I left early Friday to make the drive up to Charlotte. I got a skim misto to make the drive more pleasurable :)
After an afternoon/evening full of lifting and technique classes, I headed back to my hotel to learn my choreography and to sleep. A bed never looked so inviting:
Saturday and Sunday were filled with more coaching/technique classes, lots of education, tests, and a Body Pump Challenge. A lot of the time, the room looked like Body Pump threw up all over it haha:

In the end, I passed (hooray!), made some great new friends, and left Charlotte with lots of achy muscles. Here is a group shot (I'm on the bottom left):

And one of me and one of the other instructors, Cassie! One of the greatest parts of training is meeting instructors from other clubs:

I just got back a bit ago and decided to go food shopping for the week. Now I'm ready to do some showering, eating, and then pass out! Hows your week looking?

Haha, the room for body pump looks crazy. It sounds like fun, though! Congrats on passing! I had a fun weekend, but other than a crazy hard bio test on thursday this week doesnt look too bad. I have no classes on wednesday, so I'm totally thrilled about that! Have a lovely night :)

Humpf! As if you weren't gonna pass!? woo-haa!

Too bad that coffee cup reminds me of the cup that spilled on the couch last night thanks to Baby. Babies and coffee do NOT mix. (make a note of that)

Darn.

I honestly would love to go to one of those trainings! I'm sure everyone is really upbeat and ready to learn.

My week should be pretty busy seeing as I was cut off from the world with the flu last week :(

OMG INTENSE! You go girl. Do you not just die for the Starbucks holiday cups? I guess it's effective marketing if I want to buy a coffee more just because I get the red cup, haha...
