Friday Night Out

Hello and I hope your weekend is off to a good start!! I had a nice half day of work. After work, I got all of my weekend to dos out of the way (cleaned the house, finished the laundry, ironed, and food shopped). I did my food shopping at Harris Teeter this week instead of my usual Publix, just to switch it up! I also got in some relaxing and reading.

Tonight I took Body Flow because I really felt the need to get some yoga/pilates in. My muscles felt wonderful after the class. Then I taught my usual Body Attack. I ran home quickly and showered and headed out to dinner with friends at Mellow Mushroom. I got the capri salad (mozzarella, tomatoes, mixed greens with a balsamic reduction):

Josh got pizza with artichokes and spinach (sorry the pictures are over exposed- it was SO dark):
I expected my salad to be a lot bigger! So when I came home, Josh and I enjoyed the last of his key lime pie bars (which I had frozen earlier this week) and some cantaloupe. Hope you had a nice Friday night.
I have a favor to ask! I am (finally) going to be writing an About Me post. I have a question list started, but would love some additional questions- is there anything you want to know about me? Let me know ;)

I still can't believe I have yet to go to Mellow Mushroom!

Questions? Hmm...

1) How do you fuel up for all of the group fitness classes that you teach?
2) How did your interest in fitness/healthy eating develop?
3) How you and Josh met :)

Fun dinner! I wish we had that place here!

I like allie's questions...and also, maybe your fitness history?? Like did u play sports/workout your whole life..or get into more recently?

Yum! Artichokes on pizza sounds great, but I'd have to do that homemade. I don't think anyplace around here has that on the menu.

My weekend started off great with a Friday night out to the movies to see G.I. Joe. Yes, hubby picked the flick. How did you guess?

I suppose most About pages fit the same general format. I always like to see pictures of someone as she has evolved into the person she is today, even if it doesn't involve a weight fluctuation (as many do). We all change over time and there are many things in our lives that can affect who we become. What most shaped your journey to fitness?

I ate at the Mellow Mushroom for the first time this winter while vacationing in FL, we don't have them here in NY. Awesome place!

I'd definitely love to more about the fitness classes you teach, how you prepare, how you got started.

Looking forward to read About me!

couple of questions:
what's your favorite food?
what's your favorite workout?
how did you begin to teach fitness classes?

Possible Questions:

2. What did you study in school?
3. What is your favorite ice cream flavor:)

That salad does look small--I would have devoured the pizza though :-)

As for questions, how about what are all the places/towns you've lived in your life and which one was your favorite and why?!

That spinach and artichoke pizza sounds so good! I love spinach artichoke dip so I'd imagine this pizza being amazing!

Hmm...a lot of the questions I would have thought have already been asked SO I can't wait to see your answers :)

That is a small salad. Hope it didn't cost too much.

Question.
1. What's your most embarrassing cooking experience?
2. What's your proudest cooking experience?

Your salad looks yummy, but definitely really small! I'd love to hear more about how you got into teaching fitness classes. That's so cool!

I love the look of the food. I don't like regular pizza and I'm always up for new flavors. Those toppings look great!
