Pita Pocket Pizza

Today was filled with a very productive morning and a lazy afternoon :). In the morning, I taught Body Step, went food shopping, did lots of laundry, ironed and caught up on blogs. This afternoon I.....have been relaxing!

For din din tonight, I made up little pizzas on whole wheat pita pockets. For Josh's pizzas, I combined marinara and buffalo sauce and topped it with mozzarella and buffalo chicken breast lunch meat. He ate his pizzas with a side of pineapple:

For me, I used marinara, cheese, and tons of veggies (peppers, onions, broccoli). I had a side of pears and more veggies topped with a little marinara (I am tomato sauce obsessed!):

I baked the pizzas at 375 for probably 12ish minutes. It was a great, easy dinner. Josh requested a coffee dessert so I just brewed some up! I never say no to coffee haha. We will probably hang in and watch movies tonight. What are you up to?

girl I am being bad and eating way too many Good Humour bars as I catch up on blogs. Bad girl I know, but I did sweat like crazy today as the dew point was killer outside.
You always make such healthy pizzas, good girl.

Looks yummy! I love lazy Saturdays, but my boyfriend is making me "maybe" go out tonight. I'm really not in the mood though, I'd rather do what your doing tonight.

Your dinner reminds me of the English muffing pizzas I used to make as a kid! Easy and tasty. I'm just waiting for Snuffy to wake up asking for Mommy...she hasn't been feeling well for about 4 days now :(

Cute pizzas! And they look really good, too. I love easy, healthy meals that come together in a snap. Tonight my husband and I are just hanging out! I just got my computer back so I'm definitely trying to catch up on my blog reading :)

Erica! congrats to your sweet bulldog for winning Janetha's contest (well, really Penelope Jane's contest LOL) He is beautiful! I love my bulldog, they have MORE PERSONALITY than any other dog I've ever had (I'm not sure if that is a good thing though :0)

Busy mornings and lazy afternoons are the way to go! Unfortunately my Saturday was the complete opposite but that's alright ;)

Your mini pizzas look awesome! I don't know why I haven't tried broccoli on pizza yet - sounds delicious!

I love veggies topped with marinara. I could eat probably anything with marinara on top. Have you tried english muffin pizzas? They make good pizza crusts as well.

And what a great idea to put pizzas on pita pockets??!

oh my gosh! I'd eat a green smoothie, cut cantaloupe, or plain Greek Yogurt (with no fruit) if you'd invite me over for that pita pizza!
