Polenta Crusted Shrimp

Yayyy for being back from training! I arrived home last evening and since that time have been doing a lot of laundry/ironing/cleaning the house! Josh and I went out to dinner last night and today I couldn't wait to get back to cooking! I made Giada's polenta crusted shrimp with fresh brussel sprouts and some pineapple/plum chunks. I thought the shrimp was just ok. Josh and I had them with a little bbq sauce (we're not mayo fans so I didn't make the dipping sauce). The brussels were great! Tonight, we're going to see Pineapple Express! I will let you know how it is! How is your weekend?

Sorry the shrimp weren't as good as they look! (They look amazing.) I like the idea of pineapple and plum together. They're so good apart, why not combine them?!
Have a great night!

Too bad about the shrimp - but hooray for polenta brussels sprouts, and LOTS of fresh fruit!!

Weekend is full of bad weather (floods!!), but lots of good dancing!! :0)

Welcome back from training! Hope you enjoy the movie. I heard it was great! I haven't seen it yet and I work in the movie business (the shame). Hmmm, I had bookmarked this recipe, but this is the second time I have heard it wasn't great. Guess I will have to find another. Hope the rest of your weekend is awesome!

Yay for being done with training! Even though that shrimp didn't taste so great, it LOOKS incredible. I love polenta but have never made it myself - I would guess there must be some way to get it to taste good as a crust! And I'm sure you'd be the girl to figure it out ;o)

I hope you enjoyed Pineapple Express!
