1/2 1/2 Whole Wheat Pizza and Bender's Cookies

I am thrilled tomorrow is Friday! I am hoping for a semi easy day at work! Work today was busy busy again! The day flew by and it was time to teach Body Step. After class, I did the usual home stuff and then prepared dinner. Earlier in the day I had made up whole wheat pizza dough according to the directions on 101 cookbooks. Instead of using all whole wheat flour, I used 1/2 all purpose 1/2 whole wheat. The dough was SO easy to make and tasted amazing. Here is my dough fresh out of the fridge:

Dough "rolled" out:

Topped with tomato sauce, low fat mozzarella and onions:

After baking:
SOO delicious. Seemed like the perfect way to kick off the NFL season! Are you guys football fans? If so, what team?

After dinner, I decided to make Jenn's cookies. I figured since she didn't have whole wheat flour, someone had to try it with whole wheat flour... :) I used regular milk instead of chocolate almond milk so to makeup, I added 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa. The result:
Totally delicious. They're very light! I give them two thumbs up!

Aw, you're amazing! Thank you so much for trying out my cookies - they look even better with whole wheat flour! :o) And I'm glad you liked them, too - definitely not your average cookie in terms of taste and texture...but I actually like the difference!

That pizza looks amazing too - definitely a good way to kick off the football season! I used to be a die hard Packers fan, particularly because of Brett Favre, but then that whole fiasco happened this year...now I'm at a loss because I still love the Packers but it just isn't the same without him there!

That pizza and dough does look good. I'm a Chiefs fan, but I think it's going to be a tough year for us. lol. Any excuse to eat pizza though is good for me, so go chiefs!

i totally need to get the rest of those ingredients so i can make some cookies! they look too good!!!!
so does that pizza dough.. i absolutely adore pizza and usually buy the whole wheat crust instead of making it. making things with yeast freaks me out for some reason... i need to get over that!
have a happy friday!
