E: Sloppy Turkey Joes

Thank you all (as always) for the sweet comments on my pregnancy update!

How was the rest of your weekend? Ours was nice, but ended too fast. Sunday morning, we headed to Charleston’s Cafe for brunch.  I had decaf coffee:

 sloppy turkey 001

And oatmeal with strawberries and raisins:

sloppy turkey 002

After brunch, we lounged around a bit before I had to take Kelley & Steve to the airport. I was sad to see them go, but we had such a good time during their visit! The rest of the day was spent on laundry, cleaning, a little work, cooking & baking. For dinner, I used Janetha’s recipe for sloppy turkey joes:

 sloppy turkey 003

These are super tasty and it makes tons! Josh’s on a bun (note the sloppy component ;)):

 sloppy turkey 006

  sloppy turkey 009

I enjoyed mine on its own with a side of fruits and veggies. I plan on having some on a salad for dinner tomorrow night. Thanks for the yummy recipe Janetha!

Anything exciting going on this week? Not much on this end! Teaching pump this morning and trying to get used to this whole daylight savings time thing ;).

The turkey sloppy joes look delish! No big plans in my corner of the world - just work, teach aerobics a couple of times, and lots of downtime with the hubby and our little girl.

I've never had sloppy joe's! It's clearly an American dish, but equally clearly I need to try it because it sounds delicious :)

DLS time always throws me off for a week or so. I do like it being daylight later...but still not sure its worth going through it all. Arizona is on to something I think! lol

Yum- I'm thinking of making some sloppy joe's now to serve on top of some spinach. I know myself well enough to know I'll be wearing them on my clothes if I ate them from a bun!

P.S. I just read your pregnancy update and you are such a cute pregnant lady.

I feel like the loss of an hour made a huge difference this weekend! But I DO love the extra daylight. :-)
