Thank YOU and Sesame Noodles

Hi friends! Thank YOU so much for voting on what I should wear to the wedding (and for all your kind comments - you made my day)!! Gray is in the lead right now. Keep the votes coming!!

It has been a lovely day thus far. I did a two mile run this morning and then took body pump. Work was busy busy. This afternoon/evening I am working on cleaning the house. I also just finished prepping dinner, one of my favorites- Rachel Ray's Hot and Cold Sesame Noodles. I made Josh's with chicken:

And mine without+ extra veggies. It is chilling in the fridge and I cannot wait to dive into it later. Rachel has some fun and easy recipes. I usually try to lighten them up a bit.

Who is your favorite food network host? Do you have a favorite recipe from this host? I have a few favorites- Giada (Parmesan, Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad), Ina (Roasted Tomato Caprese Salad) and Ellie (Macaroni and 4 Cheeses aka Squash Mac n Cheese).

Glad you had a good day. I stayed home from work today-still sick. Tomorrow is going to be better-I hope:)

I like Giada-I love Italian and she makes a lot of fresh, healthy meals. I like Ellie too! I love this soup from Giada: http://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/2008/10/hearty-tomato-soup.html

The beans add protein and make it really creamy!

Sorry I missed the vote yesterday, gray is pretty, but I think I like multi better!

So happy you're having a great day. I used to love all the FN hosts, but these days I can only tolerate Ina and Ellie and I still like Giada's recipes, but hate her personality now. FN has this awful way of turning their hosts into caricatures.

I am such a Giada fan - I love her recipes and none of them are yet to disappoint! I also love me some Paula, her personality is to die for!! :)

I think Canada and the US have some different hosts, but I like Giada and the Barefoot Contessa. Ricardo (Canadian) is good too and CUTE! :) Of course, Rachel Ray is right up there! We used to get Ellie, but not anymore. Makes me sad because I thought she rocked.

I'm a big Giada fan! But I also love Ina...and Bobby Flay!

I have been wanting to make these noodles, I've seen them here before, and they always looks so good! And I still want to try Ellie's Mac and Cheese!

My favorite BY FAR is Giada! I've never been disappointed with any of her dishes. 2nd place goes to Ellie though. I love how healthy her dishes are.

I hope you have an equally fantastic Thursday :)

Whooohoo, go GREY!!!! Lol :)

Those sesame noodles look off the charts. My favorite is definitely Giada, although her dishes usually are pretty heavy.

I am also a big Rachel Ray fan, but again, they aren't always the *healthiest*.

I have Ellie's cookbook as well, and I love it! I haven't tried her mac yet, but now that I know it is good, I'll have to give it a whirl.

Have a wonderful evening!

Giada is definitely my favorite. I love the way she says her cheeses :) I haven't really tried any Food Network recipes. I used to browse them all the time when I watched the show allllllll day long haha but I usually just use the show for inspiration.

Wow, those noodles look fantastic! I don't have cable (and I don't even have a tv right now), so I haven't watched much food network. From the rest of these comments, it sounds like I'm missing out!

Have a great night, girl :)

I like to watch Giada because of her personality. As far as recipes...Rachel's are my fave they do have to be lightened up almost every time though. But, that's ok because it makes things fun.

I have always loved Giada, however my favorite food network show is of course Ace of Cakes! I can never get enough of that show! I am partial to brown this time of year, so I would go with the brown dress and jazz it up with some cute accessories!

Looks good--I love Rachael's recipes, they're usually unique! I really like Sandra Lee, but try to lighten her recipes up as well.

Giada drives me crazy - lately every time I watch her show she makes a cut and then says "just like that." She must have said it 100 times!

I'm so glad I saw this post! Now I know what I'm having for lunch :) I heard Giada- I just found her cookbook on sale half price- can't wait to try out some of the recipes! I agree that it's fun to try and lighten up some of the recipe ideas from food network. Have a great day!

YAY for a good day!

Those peanut noodles look so good... they're one of my favorite things to eat!

I don't watch the Food Network, but I'm going to have a little more time on my hands soon (hint hint) so maybe I'll get into it!

Grey is an awesome choice!!

I love Ellie, Giada and Paula, and I also love the Neely's, since they are from my neck of the woods. Memphis barbecue is one of my favorite things in the world. No one else gets it right. ;-)
