More Football, More Chili

We had friends staying with us this weekend and had a blast touring them around Charleston. On Sunday, we had a football day at the house. We nibbled our way through lunch with vegetables and hummus:

Salsa, chips & guacamole:

And popcorn:

When everyone was ready for something a little more significant:

I pulled out beef chili:

and Lauren’s buffalo chicken (I used turkey) chili:

Toppings (jalapenos, cheese, Chobani):

Josh’s parents came over and brought amazing cornbread and un-pictured fruit and Asian slaw for sides:

Single the Eagles weren’t playing very well, we all got a little silly:

Did your favorite team win this weekend? If you’re not a sports fan, tell me your favorite chili topping!

We made chili last night, too! On top: cheddar, Greek yogurt, and avocado. Always wins!

So nice you had houseguests! I can't wait to host more when we move.

I'm a Panthers (Cam Newton) fan and it's been a very disappointing season. Like you, we got kind of bored after awhile on Sunday and ended up turning it off.

Favorite chili topping...that's a tough one. Your's sounded perfect- jalapenos, cheese and chobani! I don't think I'd do anything differently!

My (boyfriend's) team beat the Eagles, so it was a good day in our house. I always top my chili with shredded Mexican cheese and Goldfish!

The Eagles are playing terribly! Being a girl from Philadelphia, it's so frustrating!

Baby K looks so cute in her cheer leading outfit! I was so excited to do a group exercise class tonight, but forgot I had an eye doctor appointment this afternoon, hopefully this weekend I'll get to one!

Sliced jalapenos make my chili! :D

My favorite topping is sour cream! I also just made beef chili - so perfect for the colder weather. I don't watch a lot of football but I am a huge Celtics fan!

It’s astonishing how many with people chronic conditions like SUBJECT IN STORY may be skipping treatments due to caps on health insurance coverage. A study released by the journal Cancer in June reported that nearly 2 million Americans with cancer are doing just that. Luckily, it doesn’t have to be that way anymore. Beginning on September 23rd, insurance plans can’t create caps on coverage for chronic conditions. It’s pretty clear that money used to save your life is money well spent. It’s the first step in a road of recovery for many.

Ahhh, Kay is so cute! I'm more of a hockey fan than football, but I would so love to hang with you and the girls - I could handle getting a little silly, lol!
