Product Reviews: Charleston Naturally

I enjoy using natural products (skin care, makeup, cleaning etc.) when I can. Recently, the nice people at Charleston Naturally offered to send me products to sample (disclaimer: I received these samples for free):

I was thrilled to see a variety of skincare, makeup, and baby products:

First, I tried Dr. Hauschka’s soothing mask:

The mask felt amazing on and my skin felt totally refreshed & smooth after:

Next, I tried the sukiface line. Although I lovedddddd this eye cream:

the other sukiface products were a little too scented for me:

My favorite product (by far) was this Stonecrop whipped moisturizer. I find most lotions feel either 1) too heavy or 2) aren’t moisturizing enough/dry out. This product is both light and moisturizing. It feels just fabulous on your skin!

I also tried this Sheer Tint Illuminator:

It felt great under my makeup, but I didn’t really notice any improvement in the appearance of lines.

The designs on the erbaviva baby products are super cute! The products also work great (especially the lotion)…but I also found them to be a little heavily scented.

I liked the soothing mask too. One of the scrubs smelled SO good. The rest of the Dr. H products smelled like butt. :)

I totally disagree! All Dr. H products smell delicious. I have been a faithful consumer for more than 5 years. I also use their makeup line too! love it!

I think its a smell preference kind of thing. I didn't really think they smelled bad...they are just VERY scented. I have a sensitive nose so they were a bit over the top for me. Glad you love them though- very good quality!!

i LOVE beauty products haha - addicted. i'm on the hunt for a new moisturizer so i'm gonna head on over and check that good one out! i'm like the goldilocks of moisturizer - ones too heavy or too oil or not moistureizery enough (new word?) anyways i'm forever on the hunt for the PERFECT face cream!

I love finding all natural beauty products. I am a very natural kind of gal so I often buy soaps and scrubs at the farmers market. Some of the smells are sooooo good!

How cool that you were able to try out so many different products! Love the picture of you and your soothing mask. I also have the same gripes about moisturizers. I may need to check that one out!

I do by best to use natural beauty products, I am not perfect at it as I am still trying to figure out what my face likes and doesn't ;)

I don't really use many beauty products on my face, but lotions and such that I'll eventually use on hunter are natural and my preference too.

However, when I do get around to usings masks I looooove homemade ones.

I don't specifically set out to use natural products but I would like to use more. It has to be better that chemical filled stuff.

For myself I don't use much natural products, except my face lotion. For Hunter, yes! I guess I work harder to keep him natural :)
