Her thoughts: "When I took my first bite, I thought…”Mmm….peanut butter and jelly. Tasty!” Then a few more seconds into chewing it, it had a bit of a tang to it. I think the cherry came out. I am not a cherry fan so that’s probably why it hit me so quickly. BUT, I started eating a couple of more bites and really started enjoying it. For an overall synopsis of the bar….I enjoyed it thoroughly. Slight taste of PB & J with a granola bar feel. Just wish I enjoyed cherries more."Gina also tried the Peanut Butter & Jelly
Her thoughts: "The bar is like a PB & J to go!! without the work! Its filling and was great after a class and a 3 mile jog. Much better then my "after workout granola bar". However, it was too good to share, so I didn't =D"Jo Ann tried the German Chocolate Cake
Her Thoughts: "I liked it. It was very tasty. It keep me fuller for the morning versus the Zone bar. Not as many proteins in the bar as I would like." Then she asked where she could purchase some ;)

Her thoughts: "The Tropical Fruit Tart Larabar is very yummy. I like the tropical fruit taste. The pineapple and orange flavors come out nicely."

I love that you had your colleagues/friends review the bars! I've been looking for them everywhere in my neighborhood and have yet to find any of the new flavors. The PB&J flavor better watch out when I do though!

YUM! I got those bars too and so far have just had the PB&J but I am SO excited to try the others. I think I am going to love the Tropical fruit one :)

As for my PB, yes, it's from Costco. It was my first time buying that brand but I will buy it from now on. It has a really good neutral taste and the only ingredients are peanuts and salt. And it is super creamy!

So cool to get other 'expert' opinions on the new flavs--I think I would love the pb&j because I am a serious addict to anything cherry!
I typically don't do bars - although I like them if I am travelling around. Good for when you're on the go for an extended time.
I want to try these - still haven't seen them at any stores near me though. :-(

I also agree that larabars, while super tasty & healthy, do not have as much protein as I would like for price! For a snack type bar that is "on the go" kind of eating- I need more protein "on the go" to fill me up! They really do taste good though!
I am excited for the PBJ LaraBar. I like to take their PB Cookie and their Cherry ones and eat them together, so this one will be perfect for me!

i was lucky enough to snag some of these bars too and they are super duper tasty. i think the PB and J was my fave one, just tasted like childhood.
