I am not a HUGE chocolate person, but I love Reese’s peanut butter cups. There is something about the combination of chocolate and peanut butter that is just amazing- don’t you agree? One of our friends recently purchased a house and I wanted to make him a batch of housewarming cookies. I decided this would be the perfect time to try out Reese’s peanut butter chips that I’ve seen floating around blog world:
I used both peanut butter chips and chocolate chunks and mixed them into a batch of peanut butter cookie dough. I used this recipe as my base, but since I was using natural, no sugar added peanut butter, I added an additional 2 tablespoons of sugar to the dough:
The result:
mmmm! I hope he enjoys them!

I love reese's peanut butter cups...anything with chocolate and peanut butter...such a great combo! I eat around and save the center for last (which is the best)!
My daughter loves them! The best cookies we make were like the peanut butter blossom cookies, but with reeses peanut butter cups instead of Hershey kisses.
