Weekend/Meme

Hello all! Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was wonderful. I drove up to NJ on Saturday and spent the day with my Grandma and Mom! We had lunch, went to the mall, relaxed outside, and had a nice dinner out! On Sunday my mom and I helped my grandmother clean up her backyard and then we went to the shower! The food at the shower was delicious (lots of salads, sandwiches, meatballs, pasta, and amazing desserts (my fav were the chocolate covered pineapple pieces!) and it was great to see everyone! I have a few pics of my Grandma, Mom, and I before the shower but I forgot my camera/computer wire! I will post them later :)

Last week, Sarah tagged me to do this fun meme. I have posted my answers below- if anyone else would like to do it- feel free (I think its a fun one):

Appetizer:
What was your favorite cartoon as a child?

I loved the Smurfs! It is so strange to look back at cartoons and try to understand the concept behind them! When you’re little, a group of really tiny blue critters (only one of which is a female) seems totally normal- haha.

Soup:
Pretend you are about to get a new pet. Which animal would you pick, and what would you name it?

I would definitely get another Bulldog and name him Beans.

Salad:
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, how much do you enjoy getting dressed for a special occasion?

8- I really enjoy getting all dressed up every once in a while, but I don’t think I’d want to do it allll the time! I love buying dresses though.

Main Course:
What kind of music do you listen to when you drive?

A random mix! I, like Sarah, LOVE LOVE Billy Joel- he is my favorite singer. My favorite band is the Barenaked Ladies. I enjoy a bundle of different artists- on my trip this weekend I listened to Green Day, NeYo, Usher, Lauryn Hill, Ginuwine, and a variety of pop stuff.

Dessert:
When was the last time you bought a clock? In which room did you put it?

A clock? Ummm….there is a clock on a cell phone, does that count?

BILLY JOEL!!!

By some miracle he came to the Bay Area last year and we got tickets. He NEVER comes this far west, you look at his tour dates and they are all East Coast. So we splurged on good seats.

I've heard Downeaster Alexa live, so now I can die happy. :-)

What a nice weekend you had, I love family get-togethers.
