Focaccia

Thank you all for the lovely comments on our Body Pump launch. If you haven’t tried Body Pump yet, I highly recommend giving it a go.  You can find a class here

Today was a beautiful day in Charleston. I like to start my Sunday with a good breakfast and a few cups of coffee :). I also like to treat Josh to breakfast in bed. This Sunday’s breakfast was a homemade parfait that contained vanilla yogurt, bananas, and Kashi Honey Toasted Oat Heart to Heart Cereal (I’m getting pretty good at blind photography, minus the trash can in the background):

P1090250

P1090252

I also made up a batch of focaccia bread for a fun blogger event I am hosting tomorrow! I used this recipe. The outcome:

P1090254

P1090256

Lindsay and I met up and walked the Cooper River Bridge. I just love that girl to pieces! We had fun chatting away the whole five mile walk! She brought me an amazing treat too…one of my FAVORITE nut butters- Justin’s Maple Almond Butter:

So so good. If you have not tried this nut butter- you must run out and get some.

The rest of my day has been spent doing housework, reading in the sun and learning more choreography. I’ve also been relaxing with this guy:

What was the best part of your weekend??

WOW! I'm so impressed with your focaccia baking skills!! You are so talented!!

Best part of my weekend: Bringing a homemade lunch to my husband while he directed his first disc golf tournament yesterday. And he even won 3rd place in his own tournament and split $140 with his partner!! Can you tell I'm so proud of him?! :)

The best part of my weekend was coming home and seeing Ari!

Oh my goodness, you are the sweetest wife to treat Josh to breakfast in bed! :-) Yes, your blind photography even surpasses my "seeing" photography. I need lessons, I swear!

Mmmm - LOVE Justin's Nut Butter. I just tried the Whole Foods brand of AB last week - LOVE it, too! Of course this begs the question is there an AB I do NOT like? And the answer would be no, clearly. :-)

You are so sweet to make breakfast in bed! I should do that sometime i'm usually awake for a while before Jacob on Saturdays. Your bread turned out great :)

Alisa said...

Oh so adorable! I've never tried Justin's, but do like whipping up maple almond butter at home - a natural combo!

That foccacia looks stunning btw.

Favorites - turning some deeply sunken chocolate chocolate chip zucchini muffins into a brownie "ice cream" sundae; long walks and mellow bike ride with my husband.
