Weekend of Eats! Grill 225 & Charleston's Cafe

We have been having a blast spending time with Josh's parents. We have spent a lot of time out and about and have enjoyed some very good meals. First, up Grill 225.

As I have mentioned previously, this restaurant is a super classy steak restaurant in downtown Charleston. Josh's parents:

Me & Josh:

We started off with some incredible bread:

And salads (this is Josh's Mom's tomato and mozzarella salad):

Josh's Caesar:

Josh's Dad with his calamari:

I ordered my favorite, six year old inspired dinner. The Yonges Island green salad (greens with chipped pecans, tomatoes, ginger soy dressing):

and steak fries ;)

Everyone else stuck with steak and creamed spinach (sorry for the dark picture):

A fabulous dinner!

Grill 225 on Urbanspoon

And of course, you know we went to brunch this morning:

Charleston's Cafe!! I got my usual apple parfait. Josh tried one of the specials, Peanut butter, chocolate chip multigrain pancakes topped with pecans, bananas and whipped cream:

The rest of the day was been spent running errands and doing things around the house.
This morning, I taught my usual pump class. I have the day off of work as Josh is having surgery on his elbow today. Please send good vibes his way :)
What are you looking forward to this week?

You have influenced a new inspiration for me: To take more pictures of the world around me! I know, that's what blogging is all about, but I really don't take many pictures at all.

Your recipes/adaptations are amazing! Thank you for taking the time to blog it all!

Sending good vibes to Josh!

To answer your question, we always say we're going to go to Charleston to visit Jason's brother and his wife, but we've been so busy. Maybe this fall? I will definitely let you know!

I'm looking forward to closing on my house!! Well, not the actual closing part, which I heard is a ton of paperwork.

Tell Josh good luck with his surgery! And all of that food looks amazing, especially that bread with the tomato in it! I can't believe you have already taught a body pump class today and I just got out of bed. I think I might do pump tomorrow though!
