Insomniac

You all had some great sounding dinners last night! From Jenna and Lauren’s soup and grilled cheese to Caroline’s stuffed squash, you all provide me with such great ideas/inspirations!!

After I taught Attack last night(Tuesday), I came home and had to do lots of work. I ended up staying up until around 11:30 finishing up. Today was another crazy/busy day! After working hard without a break for 9 hours, I left work and came home to fit in a run. I did a quick just over 6 mile run in the sunshine:

...showered, squeezed in some dinner (Acorn squash topped with honey, pinto beans, peppers, and an apple with lots of un-pictured nut butter ;)):

and then got right back to work! I finished around 11 and then figured, while I'm up, I'll do some house work! I did some ironing and vacuuming (so glad Josh can sleep through pretty much anything ;)) and just now sat down to blog!
Tomorrow I am taking a day off from working out, as my Body Pump training starts on Friday (YIKES!). I am looking forward to some afternoon napping. Do you have any fun weekend plans?

We are packing up for the long drive to Northern Ohio to visit some friends who are expecting soon. They started "trying" for their first child after the first time we took Snuffy to visit.

I am so touched that my dinner stood out for you! I wish I could have had you over to join me for it though. Someday right?!?! :)

Wow, girl you amaze me! How in the world are you able to stay up and work so late? If I am not in bed by 9:30pm I am one cranky girl. Even on the weekends, 10pm is pushing it. ;)

Have a great day friend.

Hmmm....weekends are full of studying and paper-writing for me, but I will take a couple breaks for running and going to lunch with some family.
Today is my day off...so weird to "sleep in"!
As usualy, acorn squash looks awesome.

enjoyyy your day off! sounds like you totally needed it after a long stressful day.

haha so funny that Josh can sleep through anything. That must make blow drying your hair a piece of cake if you have to do it in the morning and he's still awake!

Love that squash... I have one in my pantry waiting to be cooked up, too!

I'm going to Minnesota to visit my grandparents this weekend.

Hope you get some rest!

Such a busy bee you are! Cleaning at 11pm... meanwhile I was parked on the sofa watching the game. Yummy dinner!

Not quite sure what we are up to this weekend. I see lots of leaf bagging in my future though, our yard is covered! We may go to a charity ball thing though.... which would be fun to dress up for, but not sure about tickets yet.

I LOVE naps!!! I still think we should institute an adult nap time every afternoon - even a 15 minute one does me good. Good luck with the Body Pump training tomorrow...it sounds intense!

This weekend I'm going to study up a storm, but I'm most excited about going to the Colts game on Sunday!!

Wow, you were a busy beaver last night!

We have NOTHING planned this weekend and I love it when that happens.

It's supposed to be gorgeous in the midwest - highs near 70! We plan on doing a lot of raking, definitely going to grill and probably have a bon fire in the back yard - heaven!

Afternoon napping sounds delightful. :)

This weekend I'm going to my cousin's baby shower in Ohio. Although I'm not excited to travel for the 2nd weekend in a row, I'm totally stoked to see her pregnant belly! I haven't seen her pregnant yet!

Hi, found you through No-Meat Athlete's site where we both agreed Giada's body is freakishly small. ;) Saw your comment about body pump. Do you know who your instructor is? A friend of mine's wife teaches Body Pump around the nation - her name is Susan Laney. Just wondered if she might be teaching your course?
