13.4 & Thanksgiving in Nashville Part 2

Hope your Monday is treating you well!! Today is my last abbreviated day before going back to the usual work hours. One more quick note about today before I get to the end of my Thanksgiving recap: I got up this morning and taught Body Pump and then got ready for one of my last longer runs before my half. I knew I had to teach this morning, but this was the only day I could really fit it in. I ran 13.5 miles!!!!! I am super excited:

Ok, back to the recap.

Friday:
  • Slept in
  • Got up and ran 7 miles

  • Lots of relaxing
  • Family pictures, Our Christmas card for this year:

  • Everyone:

  • Funny:

  • Me, Josh's Daddy, Jenny:

  • Matching vests anyone?

  • Dinner out. Here is Jenny enjoying her first legal cosmo out:

Saturday:

  • Started my day off right by meeting Heather from HEAB for the first time! She is even sweeter than I had imagined. Heather treated me to yoga at a gorgeous studio:

  • Then Heather gave Josh a massage! He said it was awesome!
  • After, Heather, CD (who is also super nice), Josh and I went out to lunch at Fido's in Nashville. Josh got an egg sammy:

  • I got a big bowl of fruit (I ate light as I was saving up for some TJs action, more info below):

  • And we both enjoyed Cafe Au Laits (so good):

  • Heather and I (thank you for such an amazing time Heather!!):

  • TJs!

  • I love TJs, I wish they would open in Charleston! I got lots of goodies, including many products you all recommended:

  • Dinner out

Sunday we drove 9.5 hours home! What a great Thanksgiving!! BIG thank yous to Josh's family for another great holiday.

I will be back later!

What a great weekend!! Too cool that you got to meet up with Heather. Love all the pics! The family shot with frank, the matching sweaters, all of them! What a beautiful family you have. :)

That's a lot of running girly! Wish I liked it, I tried to get into it, but just can't get in that zone. I'll stick w/Body Pump and my elliptical and other cardio classes. lol. I'm going to Turbo Kick cert this weekend! Excited, but nervous. I've only taken the class like once. lol, but I loved it. and it's fun. The cert is nothing compared to Les Mills. It's only 1 day!

Awesome job on the run! I have my first half next year, and I am already scared/excited.

Love the matching vests. I got a kick out of it, especially because my brother and boyfriend have about 5 of the same articles of clothing. :)

Great run this morning! Very inspiring.

I love Bongo Java... neighborhood coffee shops are the best! (I say that, yet I go to Starbucks ALL of the time... lol)

you totally did a half marathon! (distance wise!) That's so cool!

And isn't meeting other bloggers so much fun? I love the black scarf you have on in the picture with HEAB.

So sad that there is not a Trader Joe's by you. We didn't have one for a while and like ten of them popped up. Hopefully the same thing will happen in Charleston.

I love those matching vests. I am a big argyle fan.

yum, I love Kambocha! I'm actually having it tonight. As for the puff cereal, oh my goodness, it is really affordable compared to a lot of other cereals out there. Enjoy your week! :)

Angelalovesfood said...

opps, did I say Kombacha? I realized the mistake after I drank the actual Kombacha. I mean kabocha. ha, knowing if I didn't fix this mistake would bug me.

LOOOVE the holiday photos--looks like your fam is a blast! I remember one Christmas, all the girls had to match and the same for the guys. It was hilarious! Of course my uncle forgot his shirt when we got to the studio, so we always have that funny memory in the pictures :-P
