E: Triple Chocolate Cookies, Dinner & Pregnancy Update

Are y’all enjoying the weekend? It is SO beautiful here- I am loving every minute. Saturday was a very nice day. I walked and took Body Step in the morning. I cleaned, baked and laid in the sun in the afternoon. At night, we went out in Charleston to celebrate our friend Jeremy’s birthday.I wanted to make him some treats for his birthday. First up, I made Ellie Krieger’s triple chocolate cookies.  The batter:

The final result:

I also made a half batch of my big oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to go along with them:

We went to dinner at Southend Brewery:

Our original plan was to try a new spot, but the wait was tooo long and Southend had no wait! Bryan & Mandi:

I feel like I’m finally at that level of pregnancy where people can comfortably ask me how far along I am :). I’m still feeling good and working out/teaching body pump without any issues!  I painted my toes this week because I feel like this task will soon become difficult.

Speaking of pregnancy, a big congrats to Maria & Josh. So happy for you two!

What has been the best part of your weekend so far?

You made me laugh out loud with your comment about how now people feel more comfortable asking you how far along you are - in today's society, you just can't ask too early, for sure, haha ;)

Best part of my weekend = Suave Slav and I saw the movie "Limitless." SO GOOD!

Josh's pizza looks fantastic! Sounds like a fun night out with good friends.

Haha, don't worry, as soon as you can't paint your own toes, that's when the pedis come in to play. :)

You look awesome, Erica! I know what you mean about people feeling comfortable that you are indeed pregnant. I wasn't too fond of the "I kinda look chunky, not pregnant" phase. I felt my best and most confident in the 3rd trimester!

I need to try those cookies! So delicious....Lent, please be over soon. :-)

You are such a cute pregnant person :-) I love your maternity clothes, too!

Hmmm...best part of my weekend was seeing my friends last night and celebrating with family today!

I audibly squeal with delight when I see your pregnancy pictures. You are the cutest mom-to-be! Love your and VeggieGirl's comment on asking in today's society. So true!

Those cookies look out of this world good. And when it comes to that pizza - I definitely would have had to eat the crust. ;o)

Best part of my weekend so far has been the yummy meals. We hadn't been to the grocery store in so long because of traveling that it was so good to finally get back in the kitchen!

Hope you have a great day, Erica! Sending positive vibes to Frank, too!

You continue to look so gorgeous in your pictures!! Haha, I totally know what you mean about people feeling comfortable asking you - there is someone at work and I really can't tell if she is or not, and I don't want to ask! I guess I'll have to wait until she says something :) Also, I've made those Elie cookies before and liked them a lot! Hope you have a lovely Sunday!! Best part of my weekend was going out to breakfast with Ben this morning.

i'm REALLY excited for you to be able to look back at this in a year or two and see how your pregnancy went :) and in a fewww years show your babes how she was a famous internet star before she was even born! haha :)

what a fun 5-ers date! should have invited thiiis girrrrrl i could have made it even! and of course helped out with any leftover pizza crust haha. and jeremy is a lucky guy to have YOU make him treats ;)

also i think you should take advantage of this situation and have OTHER people paint your toes!!

Those birthday cookies look so good! I've been on a big cookie kick lately... I don't know if I'm going to have time to make any today, so I might just go buy one from the bakery across the street. I've heard such great things about Ellie's recipes!

Love the pregnancy photos! Getting so close!

Best part of the weekend will actually be tomorrow night when I get two tests over with.

I helped my sister put on her boots a few times when she was at the point where she couldn't reach anymore because of the belly bump.

Artichokes on a pizza? I don't think I've had that as topping? Does it get crisp a little or does it stay soft?

Baby bump still as cute as ever. Glad you are staying active still, I heard it makes for an easier delivery.

You are SO cute!! You look amazing, I love that you are still teaching classes, that is inspiring. I worked out till then end of both my pregnancies, I was so happy I was able to.

Something is in the water with all the preggo food bloggers! :) I am not going to drink that water! LOL
