What’s Cooking?

Hope you’re doing well! I wanted to pop in and share a little of what’s been cooking over here (in the kitchen & life-wise).

First, I went on a major chickpea blondie kick. I tried a few recipes and you know what…I didn’t like any of them. They all looked like they had such potential! You win some, you lose some!

I made Bridget’s amazing chicken! I grilled the chicken up with jalapenos from our garden:

SO yummy! I am making the chicken again for Kaylin’s first birthday party (where did the time go?).

We celebrated Josh’s first Father’s day in style by going to our favorite restaurant, Grill 225. We all got fancied up for the event:

Josh is an amazing Dad:

Me & the moving peanut:

And a few shots from dinner, the focaccia….my favorite bread ever:

Tagliatelle:

Josh’s filet:

I recently made Mama Pea’s con cookies. I used smashed Crispix instead of rice krispies….drool. So good!

I still can’t believe my little peanut is going to be a year soon! She has been growing and developing so fast and it is incredible to watch. She loves swimming at her Mimi’s pool:

and has been working on getting mobile:

We’re planning on doing a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party. We’re having lots of people over for eats and games. Any favorite party foods? Links are welcome!

We have our Body Attack launch tomorrow- I’m excited!!

Tell me one thing that you did this weekend.

So SOrry the chic pea blondies didn't work out for you. Mine came out delicious but I did double up on the almond butter which may be why. :)

Baby K's hair reminds me of my daughter - I never thought she would grow any hair, and in fact her first hair cut wasn't until she was 3 1/2 - but then it just grew so fast - she's already donated to locks of love twice! I love her smile!!
