How has your week been so far? Did you have yesterday off? I hope so! My week has been OK so far. Kay has a cold and I had a root canal yesterday (which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be), but I also taught a great pump class and got to spend the majority of the day with Kaylin & Josh (awesome!).
I love a good smoothie! Whether homemade, from a restaurant, or from a store, they can be a totally delicious way to get in your fruits and veggies. I recently was contact by the nice people at DAHlicious to sample their DAHlicious Lassis (disclaimer: I received these samples for free). According to the company, “DAHlicious Lassis are an authentic Indian drink with a 4,000-year history, and we have brought them to supermarket shelves for a healthy and portable smoothie. Lassis are smoothies made from Indian-style yogurt blended with real fruit, and each DAHlicious lassi has fewer than five all-natural ingredients and 130 calories, and also contains more than 15 billion probiotics.”
We sampled four flavors Ecuador Banana (not shown- consumed before the picture could be taken ), Alphonso Mango, Oregon Strawberry & Wild Maine Blueberry.
Josh and I both loved these smoothies! The banana was our favorite, but all of the flavors are yummy. The yogurt drink is thick and fruity. Definitely a great breakfast or snack. I think they would be really great with protein powder or cereal mixed in. Yum Yum! Want to win a coupon to try a DAHlicious Lassi? I have FIVE coupons for a free DAHlicious Lassi. To enter, leave a comment on this post by Thursday, January 19 at noon telling me how you’d enjoy your Lassi. The winners will be randomly selected. You DO NOT have to have a blog to enter!!
As a side note, Kaylin tried another new food- Avocado!
First, she tried it alone and gave it an OK rating (based on her facial expressions). Next, I blended in banana and she seemed to really like the flavor combo:
I swear we have bibs other than Eagles bibs, I just always seem to take pictures when she is wearing an Eagles bib .
Anything exciting on tap this week? I just got a new Body Attack class and I am hoping it does well!
