Reversed Day

Happy Wednesday! We’re more than halfway through the work week! Since Josh and I have tons going on this afternoon/tonight, I switched my day around and took Body Pump at 5:45 this morning. It was a great way to kick off the day! I then came home and had an apple with peanut butter and a little granola and coffee.

My initial lunch plan was sweet potato based (after seeing Jenn’s awesome looking sweet potato fries). However, I soon realized I have tonssssssss of salad stuff and I don’t want it to go bad, so…I had the usual salad (romaine, carrots, tomato, corn, black beans, olive oil, balsamic vinegar).

I also had (ANOTHER) apple with cinnamon

For a snack this afternoon, I am planning either a banana or a piece of whole wheat bread and potentially some more coffee… We are going out to dinner tonight with Josh’s parents, so I will try to take some pics and post them up tomorrow. I also plan to do 3 sets of push ups and some more stretching (for BBBC). Have a great night (Lost is on!!)

  1. Have fun at dinner with Josh's parents. Very sweet of you to bake them some bread. :)

You know I love Lost and can't wait to watch it tonight. Still can't believe Sayid shot little Ben.

Thanks for the orzo tip - you know I've never made it!? Perhaps something I should try soon.

Erica, your month of clean eating is going so well. How are you feeling - how is the stomach? I'm almost done with my Coffee-Mate, and other than that, I'm doing pretty well with the clean eats. I love eating healthy! Makes me so happy to be filling my body with good things. :)

  7. You should write a salad cookbook. I could eat more veggies then (my downfall!)

  8. I think I could have that for lunch everyday - yum!

I love working out in the morning. Although my first minute or two is a lil' rough (i.e. no one should talk to me during that time). :-) But once I'm up, I'm at 'em. And I really feel like it's instant caffeine, ya know?!

  14. Hiii Erica!! Man it's been too long! How've you been girlie?!?!? I am always so motivated by your posts cuz of all your amazing energy! :) It definitely makes me a happy woman. You're so amazing for having the energy to work out so early in the morning. DO you have tips on how to energize yourself for that?? My biggest problem is just not being able to wake up and find the energy to stumble to the gym. :P HOpe you're having a greaaaat week so far!

  17. I prefer working out in the mornings. It is easier to get it out of the way. If I wait til night I tend to slack off, I get tired and too many things come up. So I usually workout in the early a.m! Although I had to take today off, tummy issues. I plan on getting up early!

I hope you had fun at dinner. Do you have your bread recipe on your blog? I want to try it.

  23. I can't believe you were up that early. I have thought about going to the gym for a spin class in the morning - but then I think about how it means me having to get out of bed. Hmmm . . . the bed always wins! LOL!

  25. We haven't been out to dinner in ages. I think we'll have to go this weekend to my favorite sushi joint, as sushi (no soy) is part of my clean diet. I could eat sushi and lemon water every night.
