E: December Blogger Baked Goods Exchange

Reminder: Enter our Jessica Seinfeld cookbook giveaway!! Did anyone see her on Rachael Ray yesterday? She is totally adorable and has so many great recipe ideas! Check out her stress-free holiday tips.

Happy Wednesday! How is your week coming along? Mine has been busy, but good. Frank developed a bad ear infection on Monday night, so I spent part of the night with him in the pet ER getting treated.  We got home at 2 AM, exhausted! But I am just so glad he is feeling better.

In terms of eats…there was  brinner action on Monday night:

Potatoes, onions & bell peppers cooked in a hint of olive oil and topped with Greek seasoning and scrambled eggs/egg whites. Eaten with an un-shown side of yogurt & fruit. Oh and lots of ketchup (note to self: buy organic, high fructose corn syrup free ketchup):

Tuesday night, I met up with Lindsay for dinner at Sesame.

Sesame is a very cool spot in North Charleston that offers tons of tasty options. As their website notes, they have:

  • Hormone free, ground in-house beef patties
  • House made Condiments
  • Over 60 Beer choices
  • House roasted meats for sandwiches
  • House made salad dressings
  • Tons of vegetarian options

I had such a tough time deciding what to get, but went with the  black bean burger in a bowl (on top of lettuce) with cheddar, tomato, pineapple & red onion and pineapple vinaigrette on the side:

Lindsay and I tried to take a picture of ourselves three times outside in the wind. The comical results:

I love that you review restaurants in the area...love it! makes me want to try them all!

I am still confused on this exchange thing. So we would be sending baked goods already made then? or do we just exchange recipes and then each make the other's recipe and blog about it?? Sorry, I am so slow on this...lol
